What we offer
- A competitive compensation net of tax based on the grade assigned to the job and your years of relevant experience.
- Coverage by CERN’s comprehensive health insurance scheme (for yourself, your partner and children) and contribution to CERN Pension Fund
- Depending on your individual circumstances: an installation grant, family, child and infant allowances as well as travel expenses to Geneva upon joining CERN
- 30 days of paid leave per year plus 2 weeks during annual closure of CERN
- An initial contract duraction of 1 to 5 years (with the possibility to extend up to 8 years)

Previous CERN experienceIf you have previously held a staff contract at CERN, you are not eligible for staff positions.
Recruitment process for this programme

Application review and asynchronous interviewYour application will be reviewed and you may be invited to take part in an asynchronous video interview.

Panel interview(s)You may be invited to take part in a online interview with aselection panel to learn more about you and assess your technical skills, share details of CERN and the position, and for you both to determine if it could be a good fit. This may be followed by an on-site visit to further explore the position and environment.
