The Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) project is a global collaboration of around 160 computing centres in more than 40 countries, providing the computing resources needed to store, distribute and analyse the ~200 Petabytes of data produced annually by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Your responsibilities

Assisting with budget planning and maintenance of financial files and databases.
Supporting the preparation of financial reports and analysis for internal reviews and audits.
Monitoring expenditures and validating orders, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Consolidating and analysing financial data to support decision-making.
Helping track project deliverables, milestones, and financial planning.

Your profile

Experience and strong interest in resource planning, financial monitoring, and reporting.
Experience working in a dynamic research environment with scientific stakeholders.
Familiarity with CERN budget processes and financial tools is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Finance, General Administrative or a related field.

Financial reporting and analysis: Excel skills and ability to work with data.

Work during nights, Sundays and official holidays, when required by the needs of the Organization.

A minimum entry-salary of 6962 Swiss Francs per month (tax free), increasing in line with your years of relevant experience.
30 days of paid leave per year plus 2 weeks annual closure.
