What you'll do
Join our Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team of HR Coordinators and HR Advisors to play a key role in shaping the employee journey at CERN, supporting a diverse community of students, graduates, and staff while navigating a dynamic and evolving environment, by designing and delivering tailored HR support, services, and policies. If you have an eye for detail and a genuine interest in people and HR matters, are keen to gain a deep understanding of HR processes, and develop your interpersonal skills, then this is the right position for you.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure efficient, friendly, and reliable administration and communication for various HR processes and queries, supporting HR professionals and their client departments.
- Inform and advise student and graduate populations throughout their experience at CERN on several topics (regulations, integration, processes, etc.).
- Deliver engaging presentations on HR topics to a variety of audiences, both within and beyond the group.
- Master the swift administration of contractual actions for several populations.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria
- You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State. Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals for positions with a 2026 start date, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
- By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Please pay attention to the additional criteria and requirements for this specific position and mentioned above.
