Your responsibilities
- Take part in the maintenance, installation, and improvement of mechanical systems in experimental and beam-line areas.
- Participate in fault-finding and elaborating repair solutions together with engineers and other team members.
- Contribute to assembling, testing, installing and commissioning of beam-line mechanical components (e.g. collimators, intercepting devices, supports).
- Support procurement and production follow-up activities, ensuring good coordination with suppliers and contractors.
- Assist in the design and assembly of mechanical supports for experimental setups.
- Organize and carry out logistical tasks such as preparing shielding blocks, managing storage, transport coordination, and keeping inventories up to date.
- Actively participate in hands-on mechanical work, including interventions on detector systems when needed.
