Career Events

A CERN roadshow will take place at TU Dresden. The event will include a short presentation about CERN, followed by insights from a current CERN employee about their work. Career opportunities at CERN for students and graduates from various fields will also be presented. After the presentation, there will be an informal get-together offering a chance to connect and ask further questions.

Contact Forum is Finland’s largest and longest-running career and recruitment fair for university students and recent graduates. Held annually in Helsinki, it brings together over 125 employers and thousands of students from across the country, offering a great opportunity to connect, network, and explore future career paths.

LARV (Luleå Labour Market Week) is the largest annual career event at Luleå University of Technology. Students can join a week of career-focused activities, inspiring talks, and Sweden’s northernmost job fair on 22 January — bringing together 100+ exhibitors and over 2,000 students.

Yrityspäivät is Finland’s largest and most popular recruitment and networking fair for university students and recent graduates. Scheduled for 28–29 January 2026 at the Tampere University City Centre and Hervanta campuses, the event attracts over 100 companies annually and hundreds of engaged students seeking internships, thesis collaborations, part-time jobs, and career opportunities

Join us for a special CERN event featuring an introduction to career opportunities for students in astronomy, physics, applied physics, mathematics, and applied mathematics. CERN representatives will give presentations about their current work and research, followed by informal networking drinks where students can ask questions and connect directly with the speakers. The event is supported and promoted by three student associations.

CERN will take part in the Orientation Days of the Delft Career Days. As part of the largest technical career fair in the Benelux, the Orientation Days give students the chance to meet over 150 companies, explore career paths, and discover exciting opportunities.
