What you'll do

Are you passionate about engaging young learners, families and students in hands-on science and sparking their curiosity? Are you excited to develop and pilot accessible weekend education lab formats? Join the CERN Education team!

CERN has an opening for a Project Graduate in the Education section in the Education, Communications and Outreach (ECO) group in the Stakeholders Relations (SR) sector. The Education section runs a broad portfolio of programmes for teachers and school students and conducts Physics Education Research to support evidence-informed programme design and evaluation.

CERN’s educational activities include lab workshops at the CERN Science Gateway, where visitors aged 5+ explore science through hands-on activities based on CERN science and technologies. Beyond school workshops, the education labs aim to offer activities for families and individual visitors, especially during weekends, school holidays, and special events.

  • Design new workshops for families and individual visitors, including developing accessible formats, piloting sessions, delivering them, and evaluating outcomes.
