What you'll do
As an Electrical Technician, you will participate under the guidance of engineers in the electrical and electronics development, wiring and testing required for the upgrade of high-power radio frequency amplifiers, their control and power supplies.
Your responsibilities
- Modify or create schematics using Electronics and Electricity software (such as Cadence, Altium Designer, See Electrical or Eplan).
- Dismount obsolete equipments and cables to prepare the upgrade of old systems.
- Build, wire and test electrical crates (and perhaps electronics boards).
- Install and test various equipment (serviced or new) such as: power supplies, control boards, current sensors.
- Be involved in the development, wiring and testing of high-power radio frequency equipment (from electrical distribution through high voltage to control electronics).
- Have the opportunity to receive training in various advanced techniques used in the field of high-power radio frequency: maintenance, testing of RF systems and specific RF measurements.
- Contribute to quality documentation and be fully integrated into the R&D team, which includes engineers and students.
- And as a member of the team, you will also follow up the operation of the different RF systems of the section as part of an on-call service.

- First or short experience allowed.
- Proficient in Electrical wiring and assembling, knowledge in Electronics would be valuable.

- By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.
