What you'll do
You will join the Administrative and Resources Group of the Accelerator Systems Department, working closely with colleagues across the Organization. As a key member of the SY administrative team, you will support one of the Department’s technical groups while taking ownership of your responsibilities. You will contribute to the daily coordination of the group’s secretariat, with a focus on communication, information management, and organisational support, in line with CERN’s rules and procedures.
Your responsibilities
- Provide front-office and administrative support to group members throughout their appointments, from arrival to departure, including the organization of official travel.
- Coordinate and support meetings, events, and visits (e.g. conferences, workshops, internal meetings) using CERN tools and platforms.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support reporting, planning, and decision-making, and manage the group’s web content, documentation, and archives via relevant content management systems.
- Provide administrative support to the Group Leader, including agenda and mailbox management, meeting coordination, action follow-up, information preparation, and maintenance of personnel and budget dashboards.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensure service continuity by covering for colleagues when required, and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes within the Group and the Department.

Your profile
- Proven experience of administrative work in a team, preferably in an international environment.
- Higher administrative diploma or equivalent relevant experience in the field of administration or a related field.
