What you'll do

You will join the Infrastructure (IN) Section within the Site Asset Management (SAM) Group and support HVAC, sanitary and electrical activities through your design, drafting and calculation expertise. In this role, you will contribute to 3D design and technical drafting tasks, supporting the development of infrastructure and facility projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will help produce accurate technical documentation and models required for the design and implementation of CERN’s technical installations.

Your responsibilities

  • Drafting: Create, develop and manage 2D/3D designs on REVIT and AUTOCAD for existing and new HVAC, sanitary, electrical installations.
  • Team management and technical support: organize and oversee the design activities, monitor progress, enhance skills, and provide technical support, especially in HVAC, sanitary and electrical domains.
  • Project Design and Coordination: Facilitate Lead project phases, from feasibility to execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • BIM Development: Ensure CAD/BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, IFC, etc.) are consistent, interoperable, and up to date, supporting the evolution of standards and procedures, with internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Extensive experience in the development and design of tertiary and industrial buildings
  • Proven experience in Revit, AutoCAD, preferably with knowledge of several 3D software
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience working with 3D scans.

Your skills

  • Knowledge of building construction, consolidation and renovation:
  • Design of HVAC/sanitary/electrical installations for industrial/civil buildings
  • Knowledge of BIM management
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AUTOCAD; CATIA knowledge is a plus
