What you'll do
In this role, you will support the replacement and commissioning of power converters for the ISOLDE project. Working under the guidance of an experienced technician, you will contribute to the safe removal, installation, testing, and documentation of new equipment.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with electromechanics during the removal of existing converters.
- Coordinate and follow up on transport requests for the evacuation of old equipment.
- Support building consolidation activities and address needs from various stakeholders.
- Organise and supervise the transport and installation of new converters.
- Perform commissioning tests, including verifying electrical connections and interlocks, tuning current regulation loops on operational loads and testing spare converters.
- Provide training to first-line support teams and hand over equipment to operations teams once validated.
- Produce and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

Your profile
- Practical experience working with electrical or electronic systems, ideally including power converters or industrial equipment.
- Exposure to technical operations such as installation, testing, or commissioning of equipment.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to produce, manage, and update technical documentation.
- Proven organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Your studies focused on Electrical / Electronics.

Medical hazard
- Operations on electrical installations or in their vicinity (> 1000 Volt AC or 1500 Volt DC) requiring a specific authorization.
- Exposure to electromagnetic fields under certain exposure conditions.
