What you'll do
You will contribute to the beam diagnostic instruments in the CERN SPS, which is essential to evaluate RF powers and voltages of the signals induced by the beam. Following analytical estimates, you will build models for electromagnetic simulations and simulate these to characterize these structures. The simulations will be benchmarked by measurements in the laboratory and with beam.
